DF65 sailing

Welcome to the MRSC Dragon Force (DF65) section.

This is a group of sailors who get their sailing fix from radio controlled yachts when the weather permits. This section was born and developed around the Dragon Force 65 sailing boat (DF65).

Dragon Force boats were chosen due to their reasonable cost and ease of build, transport and maintenance. they are also well supported locally and across the UK. Other local clubs sailing the DF65 include Portchester SC, Royal Southampton Yacht Club and Lymington Town Sailing Club. They are also raced at Gosport model sailing club and on Canoe Lake in Southsea by Portsmouth Model Yacht Racing Club.

We have usually race each Sunday at 1030 either on the pond or in front of the club, depending on the club activities.
